Intermediate Carbine
This course is designed for individuals who already own a AR/CAR-15 and would like to better understand how to use it with a goal in mind. Intermediate carbine builds on the fundamentals to increase speed and accuracy.  Since our class size is small, we will gear it depending on the interest of the individuals. These areas include safety, accuracy, self-defense, etc.

Format: Each team will shoot a total of 100 rounds at the same target. One partner will shoot 50 rounds of either .22, .38, .380 or 9mm semi-auto or revolver, and the other partner will shoot 50 rounds of either .375mag, .40S&W, .45acp or .45acp or 45LC. The goal is to shoot out the heart of a special target and leave no red showing. Prizes will be given for 1st Place and we will have store specials for all participants. This event is limited to 20 teams of 2, registration is on a first come first serve basis. In the event of a tie, a shootout will take place immediately after the last shoot ends.

If you have just taken the Introduction to Handguns or the NRA Basic Pistol class, and you\'re ready to build on the fundamentals learned in those courses this is the class for you! This course incorporates several drills which will include live and dry fire. You will also be working on your stance, sight picture, grip, breathing, trigger control, and shot placement. You will leave this class feeling more comfortable handling your firearm, and with a greater confidence in your ability to shoot accurately.
